Dona Paula: The Taleigao Block Congress Committee, under the leadership of its Block President Shri Dyneshwar Govekar, organised a well-attended Karyakarta Melava at Mandovi Hall, International Centre Goa, Dona Paula, on Sunday. The meeting witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 165 Congress karyakartas, reflecting the growing momentum of the organisation at the grassroots level.
The Melava was addressed by Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Shri Girish Chodankar, GPCC Working President Shri Sunil Kawthankar , GPCC North Goa District President Adv. Shashank Narvekar, Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress President Dr. Pratiksha Kalap, Congress Seva Dal Chairman Shri Rajan Ghate, and GPCC Spokesperson Adv. Shabnam Adam Khan.
The leaders deliberated on key organisational strategies, strengthening booth-level committees, enhancing outreach programmes, and intensifying public engagement to ensure that the Congress Party remains fully prepared for the forthcoming elections.
Addressing the gathering, GPCC President Shri Girish Chodankar said, “The strength of the Congress Party lies in its dedicated karyakartas. Every booth must become our centre of activity, every worker our ambassador, and every village our mission. The BJP government has failed the people of Goa through corruption, rising unemployment, anti-people policies and administrative arrogance. It is now our responsibility to reach every household with the truth and present Congress as the credible alternative. With unity, discipline and sustained grassroots work, we will be fully election-ready and restore a people-centric government in Goa.”
The participating karyakartas reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the organisation and carrying the party’s message to every section of society. The meeting concluded with a resolve to intensify grassroots activities across Taleigao and work collectively towards ensuring the Congress Party’s success in the upcoming elections.
