Union Home Minister Amit Shah to address public meeting in Goa.

PANAJI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address a public meeting in Goa on October 4 to inaugurate various schemes and projects of the state government, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said. Sawant told reporters in Panaji that Shah would arrive in Goa on October 4 in the evening, after which he will address a public meeting at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium. The Union Home Minister will unveil the state government’s ambitious Mhaje Ghar (My House) scheme, which will give ownership rights to house owners in different categories. Sawant said that Mhaje Ghar is an umbrella scheme comprising various initiatives, including the regularisation of houses on government land, community land, and others, benefiting Goans. He added that Shah will also virtually inaugurate several infrastructure projects in the state, including Prashasan Sthamb, Unity Mall, the upgradation of Harvalem Waterfall, and others.
