CARMBOLIM: Following complaints from villagers over the long-pending closure and limited functioning of the Carambolim Health Centre, RGP ZP Member Smt. Trupti Vishwanath Bakal conducted an inspection of the facility along with Dr. Nitin and officials from Goa Medical College.
During the inspection, the concerns raised by local residents regarding the availability and accessibility of healthcare services were discussed in detail with the concerned officials. The inspection focused on finding immediate solutions to the difficulties faced by villagers.
Officials informed that the Health Centre in Carambolim Panchayat will be made operational every day, ensuring that residents have more regular and accessible healthcare services within their locality.
It was also informed that the process for construction of a new Health Centre in Carambolim will begin shortly. The proposed facility is expected to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and address the long-standing need for improved medical services in the area.
Smt. Trupti Vishwanath Bakal said the inspection was undertaken in response to the concerns raised by the people and stressed the importance of taking public issues to the ground and working towards concrete solutions.
The move has been welcomed as an important step towards improving healthcare access and infrastructure for the people of Carambolim.
