Panjim;At the 78th World Health Assembly in Geneva, we had the honour of showcasing how Goa is pioneering lung cancer care—with artificial intelligence at the heart of it.We’ve become the first state in India to deploy AI-powered lung cancer screening at a statewide scale, in collaboration with @AstraZeneca and @qure_ai In just a few months:•AI has been deployed across 19 public health facilities•Early-stage lung cancers are now being detected through routine X-rays•Integration with existing digital infrastructure made it frictionless and fast•The qXR AI acts as a second pair of expert eyes, spotting what human fatigue might missThis is real-world, real-time innovation—not in a lab, but in the public health system.Proud moment for Goa.
