Strengthening Pediatric Neuro Care at GMC: A Step Towards Holistic, Free Healthcare for Children**HM Rane

Visited the Paediatric Neuro Rehabilitation Centre (PNRC) at Goa Medical College today to personally oversee its functioning and ensure that our youngest patients are receiving the highest standard of care. I had the opportunity to meet with parents and spend heartfelt moments with the children, each one a remarkable symbol of strength and resilience.
The PNRC at GMC provides care and service to newborns and children, completely free of cost. As part of our commitment to ensuring the best outcomes, we are taking steps to further strengthen these services. Through my trust and CSR support, we will be providing high-quality splints for the children. Today, I personally monitored the visit of a specialist from Mumbai, widely regarded for delivering the best pediatric splints, who came to take the necessary measurements. Our goal is to leave no stone unturned in ensuring access to the finest treatment available.
Additionally, through my trust, we will be onboarding seven healthcare professionals, including two speech therapists, two physiotherapists, and three occupational therapists. These professionals, in addition to the existing team, will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive rehabilitation and developmental support, ensuring holistic care for every child at the centre.
This initiative is a reflection of our larger vision: Healthcare for All, accessible, advanced, and delivered with compassion.
